I had the opportunity to spend one week with Hélène and her family, and I can say without hesitation that the stay was one of the best experiences of my lifetime. I highly recommend Ling'home Lyon to anyone who is looking to improve their French while being surrounded by kindness, conviviality and pure fun.
An incredible teacher, Hélène provided exceptional French lessons that were personalized and meaningful. I felt more confident with each three-hour lesson.
But even more impactful was the time spent together exploring Lyon and the surrounding area: bike rides through the city, hiking in the mountains, kayaking down the Saône, cooking together at Les Petites Cantines, sharing incredible meals .... For one week, I felt as though I was part of Hélène's family, and for that I am forever grateful.
Also, the meals prepared by Hélène were beyond words. Prior to my arrival, Hélène asked me about my food preferences and each meal was exquisite.
Truly, there are not enough words to capture how meaningful my stay was. Thank you again Hélène, Lolo and family.
