Molly et moi au-dessus de la Saône

I can't speak highly enough of Hélène and Ling'Home Lyon. I spent a week with Hélène and her family in December 2023. From the moment she picked me up from the train station, we spoke only French. It was truly an immersive experience in so many ways. The days consisted of breakfast (delicious hot croissant fresh from the nearby bakery), then we delved into lessons for the morning. In the afternoon, we visited various parts of Lyon, often relating to our morning lessons. Hélène is so knowledgable about Lyonnaise history, it was a treat to get to know the beautiful city from such an excellent guide. Then, we would return home and she would prepare the most delicious meals with ingredients fresh from the markets. She is an amazing cook, and the meals were definitely a highlight, as was enjoying them with her lovely family. They made me feel at home from the start. This was easily one of the best things I've done in a long time.
